• Transfers: Achraf Hakimi heads for Alaves

(MARCA) One of the great young players at Real Madrid, Achraf Hakimi, looks likely to spend 2017/18 at Alaves.

Interest in the player has come from all over Europe but Los Blancos believe that Vitoria is the best place for him to start his first-team career. The deal would be similar to the one that took place last summer with Marcos Llorente.

A very offensive wide man, despite being just 18 years old Hakimi has already has been called up for the Moroccan national side. In addition, his quality has not gone unnoticed by Zinedine Zidane, having been used twice by the Frenchman in 2017, in the cup match against Celta and in LaLiga against Real Sociedad. A season at Alaves would guarantee him minutes and to be able to keep growing.

This case also represents a continuation of the policy carried out by Real in recent years, that has seen the following players loaned for a season before returning; Dani Carvajal, Lucas Vazquez, Casemiro, Marco Asensio, Alvaro Morata, Vallejo and Marcos Llorente.
