PS. I cannot believe he did not pick Taarabt . He is one of my favourite players along with Assaidi and Belhanda! Taarabt has been excellent since he returned from ANC in january. Gerets said that Taarabt lost focus before the final game against Niger...well who wouldn't? Morocco were already eliminated and if he started with Taarabt in the first two games against Tunisia and Gabon then he would have made a big difference.

We play against teams with europeen style like ourself, thats why you cant use the agument about our ACN history, this is something completely different... Confidence is important. If pim verbeek after 2 years can't get morocco past the first round. Then morocco should focus on women's hockey and verbeek should try something other than football. This is the weakest group in the olympics, I couldn't ask for a better group and morocco has the talent, labyad alone is an amazing talent without others like taarabt, fetouhi, bidawi etc.

All these teams qualified in their respective continents. No team is weak...and no team is too strong! We still have a lot of work ahead of us....especially that the public opinion wants to incorporate players that never played in that squad (taarabt...). So have a little respect for the preparation and don't ruin it by making hasty generalisations and under estimating every other team.

its good that we have african cup of nations already next year... and this time, it will be on big stadiums with good grass cuz its in South Africa.. I cant only get better then what we have seen in past couple of ACN's... It takes time to build a team that always get new players like Morocco.. We have gotten many quality players, we will have to wait and see how they are going to play with time.. and yeah we could really use a good attacker, we only have good wings and offensive midfielders.. thats bit of a problem...And we have a luxury problem in midfield, who are we gonna play? we have Belhanda,Kharja,Barrada,Taarabt,Boussoufa,Labyad,Carcela,El Kaddouri and Assaidi.. we cant play them all only 4 or 5 at once, and they all could be starters.

no it's not because we think small is because we have no confidence on NT after so many dissapointement we barelly made it to CAN and now WC yet we have easy teams but the problem stand on ivory coast because they gonna beat every team they gonna face and we prolly will too but we will loose again ivory coast remember this and last last game of the season it will be held in ivory coast do the math?? plain and clear ivory coast ggoing to WC Brazil :(

Well Curve, the team havent been given us the kind of feeling that big things will happen.. W all sthought that the Moroccan team could easyli reach the semi finals or something like that in ACN 12, but again we failed.. they have to prove that they are going somewhere with this team

I think that's the problem, today moroccans think small and feel just qualification is enough. But before, we didn't think that we wanted to do well, it's not a good mentality

I want morocco to go to the world cup and do well, like turkey in 02 or croatia in 98. I don;t want morocco to go just to play and lose. The olympics will show us what we have, if we play well I think qualification is possible
